Brazil football squad was pictured recovering with oxygen masks following draw away to Bolivia on Thursday night.Neymar and Co, who have already qualified for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, settled for a point playing in La Paz, 3,640m above sea level.

After a draining evening, Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar posted a picture of him and his team-mates online, writing that it was “inhumane” to play in such conditions. He added that the “field, altitude and ball [were] all bad”.

Brazil boss Tite, meanwhile, also highlighted the challenges faced by playing at altitude after his team’s goalless World Cup qualifier.

Despite numerous attempts at goal by Neymar and Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus, supplemented by efforts by Paulinho and Willian, the visitors were held at 0-0 following a remarkable performance by Bolivia goalkeeper Carlos Lampe.

Speaking after the game, Tite insisted he was happy with his squad’s performance and praised their medical team.
